Check out the sound of a well recorded L5. Not sure if it's Lee's standard L5 or his custom model. But it sounds wonderful.
Fast forward to the solo if you are in a hurry.

I love L5 sound of Wes, Bireli and Menconi but normally I prefer floating pick up sound
