lines should be connected through the bar lines into the next chord, so shift everything back by a half note and change the final note to a chord tone from the next chord
that will help it sound more like jazz and less like an exercise
EDIT: Actually shift it back by a half note and it would be fine. This example looks like the progression of Django’s minor swing, so the chord after Am6 will be Dm6. Just shift it all back by a half note and lean into those resolutions.
is this from the Stephan Wremble book? I have that one somewhere.

easy exercise for beginners and intermediate to become a bebop voice-leading machine:
3 b9 1 7
play it around the cycle of fifths. the 3 can played up or down to the b9, so you never run out of guitar. find your own fingerings. make sure that you can follow the chords while playing. say them out loud. C7, F7 Bb7 etc.
E C# C Bb A F# F Eb D etc
play this exercise as long as you can without ever stopping. play it fast. can you do 30 min nonstop? 60? learning to play is grunt work. no better time than now to test the limits of your determination

Being old, grumpy and tired of Nero Wolfe-Novels I decided to
learn Sight Reading. At least it keeps the old noodle working, though
I don't see myself playing a classic version of Minor Swing.
Anyway, as I know the basics like note-values already I
start out with a very easy Piece:
The Guild Surfliner ... So much to like for so...
