digital fake books

Does anyone know how I could get a copy of a good fake book or real book digitally. I just got a Microsoft Surface and thought I'd try and use it instead of paper.

I have most of the fakebooks in PDF.

They are somewhat useful, but they are huge, the whole book is in 1 massive file.

Something indexable with 1 tune per page would be far more useful.

I use mobile sheets on a large tablet. It takes a lot of scanning or print to pdf from the fake books but it works.

I can also use the adobe reader directly from the fakebooks but that is a little tedious at best.

There’s an app that will index pdfs for you. I don’t remember what it’s called.
