I'm Confessin'-With Video

Here is my slightly humorous arrangement of I'm Confessin'. This is sort of Travis-picking meets Joe Pass!

(I also posted this in the Chord-Melody section and thought it fits here as well).

I remember this tune from my Banjo playing days and recently heard it played it in a video that someone posted.

I have been struggling to learn how to hybrid-pick the past two years, after a lifelong of either fingerpicking, pick alone, or alternating between the two by stashing the pick between my fingers when playing finger style.

Since I have limited speed with my fingers alone, hybrid picking is the solution that I regret not learning decades ago.

After seeing Forum member Jake Ruth playing hybrid I realized that I was seldom using the pick on the top 3 strings like he is. I decided to challenge myself by writing an arrangement that was difficult for me to play, as well as addressing many of my weaknesses.
