This is a 2006 Campellone Special with some very unique features. The guitar is made from European woods ( the letter E on label) and the scale measures 24.625 when doubling measurement from nut face to center of 12 fret, and 24-3/4 from nut face to bass side of bridge and 24.625 to treble side of bridge. Lots of people ask about scale measurements, so Im
providing ample detail. Nut width 1.720

It’s in mint condition, and went from one collection to my collection. The frets do not exhibit any noticeable wear. The tuners are MOP and the tail pc is inlaid in abalone - which is an upgrade to this model. The fret board inlays are a combination of MOP and abalone.
The neck is C shaped measuring .828 at first fret and .959 at 10th fret - when measured to the fretboard ( not over frets) and back of neck.
The body is 17” wide at lower bout and body depth is 2.750.

The voice is pure and clear with great resonation and volume. The euro woods impart that bit of softness / sweetness for which they are famous.

I had a nice conversation with Mark Campellone when I acquired this guitar and he stated it was a great sounding guitar- one of his best. Feel free to reach out to him for more details - he’s a great guy and always supports forum members.

I can provide a video for those interested. Just send me a
PM with your cell or WhatsApp number - no worries I’m a reputable businessman.

Asking $7000 plus shipping. They are 9k new - with a long wait.

Payment in US by check or wire . International customers to pay by wire only and provide bar code label/ customs invoice.

Additional info- lower bout binding has some light staining from case lining , but blends in very nicely with the aged binding. I don’t consider it an issue - but wanted to mention it.
    Barely visible in photo 10

A superb example from a guy you can totally trust.

If you want a mint Special pull the trigger.
Mark is on the verge of retirement.

Just realized a few pics showed some residual dust from wax on fret board - and didn’t want anyone to think it’s glue or something weird.

Here are few pics with that removed.

    Vinny,
Thanks for the kind words. No one appreciates the excellence of a Campellone like you. You’ve championed the accolades for Marks guitars for good reason. This is a gem,

    GLWTS Steve!

Mark makes a superb archtop, particularly for those of us who like the classic L-5. I know this to be true, as I own one that was built for Vinny. I suspect that the buyer of yours will not believe his/her good fortune when he/she gets it.

The neck inlays are spectacular! Such attention to detail, a real work of art.

I believe Mark has, in fact, retired from building new instruments. So you couldn't get a new one like this anymore ...

Usually they charge you extra for "something weird"
