Unique Hofner Jazzica Custom in Netherlands

This is a beautiful 2002 Höfner Jazzica Custom, a serious jazz guitar. It’s in top condition and has been played very little. I’m letting it go because in recent years I’ve only been playing nylon-string guitars. With the bankruptcy of Höfner, this could very well become a rare instrument. Price 1300 euro.

This particular model comes from a Höfner employee and is a mix between the Jazzica Custom and the New President. The guitar is a Jazzica Custom, but it has an ebony pickguard like the New President (so the controls are not mounted on the top, which improves its resonance) and it comes in a color that normally wasn’t available for the Jazzica Custom. Included documents confirm the origin of the model (see also the German website musikkeller-dot-com where this specific guitar is listed).

Floating Höfner Diamond Gold neck pickup. The top is hand-carved spruce.

Both the acoustic and amplified sound are very good. Can be played or auditioned on request.

The tuner buttons have been replaced by black ones; the original gold-colored buttons are included. Comes with the original Höfner Jazzica Custom case, which was made specifically for this model.

That's a beautiful Jazzica! I've only ever seen one black one before. I had a Jazzica Custom some years ago that was a terrific jazz guitar. Good luck with the sale!
