I have to ask. When i said in another thread that these strings were too heavy for me,you kind of scoffed at me and said you were ordering a set,but in the end you are not even going to try them?

    Correct.

I was going to put them on my Gretsch, but I sold it. Then I was going to put them on my tele but it’s already got the truss rod maxed out and front bow with 12s on it.

It’s going to be too much work, and for those reasons I’m out.

I’m sorry if this is frustrating for you.

I really couldn't give a darn what you do,but since you got snarky last time like now,i found it kind of strange you would not give them at least a try after commenting last time.Seems like in the end you are affirming what i said that they are too heavy.

Supposedly some of his guitar necks couldn't support them.

I have these GHS strings on my Telecaster.
They play great and I don't feel like they are too heavy.
Interestingly, I put on these strings about 4 years ago on my Tele and they sound great.

Yes, in the end, I came to the same conclusion in a different way.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think I’m being snarky now. I clearly upset you before and that’s not cool.

Great tune and a nice tone. Thanks for sharing it. Martino feel at 1:20. At least for my limited listening of him.

Just an afterthought, as we are talking about 16-56 on a conventional guitar.....I think it would be a good way to try a 'baritone guitar', if you tune down to C, or perhaps even B.
