    The AS100 was my favorite model, played just like the AS200, but no needless 2nd toggle switch for "fake" single coil tones, and no fancy fretboard inlays.

    Right! I don’t find the coil split for the neck pick up to be ‘fake’ on the AS200 But just prefer the model with less bling! I had a 1990 AS100 years ago that I sold to a student for next to nothing. Wish I could remember that guy’s name!
