So I've literally only been playing with it for a half hour...

The app allows me to multitrack...now, I have an Android so it doesn't have all the features yet...but I can adjust track volume, stereo spread, there's some basic effects...its pretty intuitive too.

So what I did here was record rhythm guitar and then the lead on video, then I added bass after that for kicks.

Seems like a pretty easy way to do multitracked recording with video.
