Download bass and drums and record the melody? The comp for it?

Yes of course. Best source of melodies is the Real Book/Fake Book from Amazon...

The latest update for Quartet apps (1-6) now includes the MULTITRACK export option as a free option. So you can now download EITHER the stereo mix OR the original multitrack as high quality WAV at NO COST!

The major update for Quartet is due in 3 -4 weeks with a whole new layout and loads of new features and improvements by the way. Not long to wait.

Any future plans for Android users? I was about to buy the app as soon as they support full page score viewing..

Hi there
Apologies for the delay in responding.
We withdrew the Android version in April 2025. Launched in January 2025. It was a slimmed down version with less functionality but the same audio. Many people complained that it wasn't the same as the iOS version so we thought best to take it off the market.
Yes we will be producing a fully-functioning Android version modelled on the NEW version of Quartet for iOS (portrait option/ full song to one screen/mixer/automation/re-route of drums etc...) which will be released in the next 3 weeks or so. Was supposed to be ready for end May but we hit a number of programming issues which are now resolved so we are about to test the final version hopefully by the end of the week and then fix the inevitable bugs before release.
Anyway, the new version of Quartet is quite different from the current one and this is the one we plan to model for Android.
I can't say exactly when it will be released but I would hope that it would be by Autumn 2026.
Hope that all makes sense.
Regards
Paul
