Hirofumi Asabe: Channeling the Barn’

I stumbled upon Japanese guitarist Hirofumi Asabe on YouTube. He’s definitely highly influenced by Barney Kessel, right down to a vintage Gibson ES350 with radio knobs (his has twin P90s, however) and even his sartorial splendor. Great player! You can tell he’s having fun. Here are some examples:
