Me too. I've heard some stuff where he plays electric guitar but found it less compelling than his nylon string playing. Carlos Santana lists him as a primary influence, calling him "The Afro-Brazillian Segovia."

I heard him at the Jazz Workshop in Boston in 1967. It was fantastic to hear a trio fronted by him on acoustic nylon string guitar, really a revelation to me at the time.
