I’m tempted to sign on to Mr. Peña’s Patreon on the strength of the short videos that show up on my FB feed. Nice bite size licks.
Any opinions about Mr. Peña?

I learned a Wes Montgomery lick from one his shorts yesterday. He seems to know his stuff.

He's got a driving feel to his playing.
Would it be beneficial to start a thread about the music Patreon's we've joined?
Miles Okazaki has a GREAT patreon. A lot of lessons and explorations. Monk, Charlie Parker, Charlie Christian, Bach, technique, his own compositions, and more. One of his more memorable lessons was getting out his snare drum to explain the rhythms and picking of a Charlie Christian solo. He's also quite responsive and open for more ideas. Worth the price of admission.
Ari Hoenig also has an excellent patreon. Even though he's a drummer, there's a lot about rhythm that isn't drum specific. Some of the lessons I was able to post on that "Pedagogy of Music and Rhythm" thread in the Rhythm, Phrasing, and Swing topic section of the forum. Now he is bringing guests to his patreon. The first guest was Gilad Hekselman. I've encouraged him to invite more musicians to the show, and he's "sending out the invites."
It would be cool to hear about our experience with the other musicians up on Patreon.
