Mike Brecker style, Fmin6 Forward motion, legato pentatonic over E7Alt

This is a very common Michael Brecker sound. It's an Fm6, very commonly used in country music but in this case, played 1/2 step up from the root of an E7Alt chord. The Fm6 pentatonic is the regular F Major Pentatonic but with a b3 so it's F G Ab C D which gives you the b9, #9, 3rd #5 and b7 of the E7 chord.

Coltrane used this 25 years before brecker but brecker used it more in a sequence so that's how I am presenting it
here.

In the articulation of this, I want to use legato techniques so anytime notes are on the same string, I am slurring them.

Note that from a strictly pentatonic pattern, we would want to use 2 notes/string. However, it's tricky with some of the synthetic pentatonics as the stretches can be large. Additionally, I wanted to get better at seamlessly integrating slurs and economy picking so you'll note that there is a section here which utilizes economy picking and 3 strings for 3 different notes. I don't have it down perfectly but that doesn't mean I won't present it to you.
