Just purchased a Yamaha YCL 255 Clarinet and a Yamaha FGX 820C

Thought would be fun to learn both at the same time. Played clarinet for 4 years up to high school, but then turned to high school sports in 1973.

It feels great to have musical instruments again. Still, this is essentially from scratch at age 67.

You might be surprised how fast it comes back. I started Bb clarinet when I was 8 or 9 years old. I found it a few years ago after not playing it for over fifty years, pulled out some piano music and I could immediately sight read much faster than I ever did back then.
