Such a caravan ride on an even road without potholes.
What is there to interest the average listener in this recording?
    I'm curious.
It was longer, about six and a half minutes. I faded it out!

It went low to high. Apart from that, I agree, it wasn't constructed for building tension and was a fairly even ride.

What is there to interest the listener? I don't know, I suspect it depends on the listener. Some people like that sort of thing. Personally, and I know it sounds selfish, I don't think about listeners, I just play it as I feel it. It comes out and is what it is.

Don't forget there was no melody as such, it's just going round the 12-bar progression. I enjoyed doing it, that's all. If others like it, that's fine, but I'm not looking for recognition.

Again, like mine, that is what it is. It's probably more interesting to some ears than mine but it has a different flavour. I have to say I don't hear much of a blues progression or blues feel. What was the form?

Ok. I still didn't hear it as a blues. Is it just me? *

(You did keep the time very well, I tested it. That was impressive)

    * Maybe if the AbM7 was Ab7...

Reality is what exists, like the sun, the moon and the earth. But mistakes also exist, they are also part of reality :-)

No, he wasn't a great guitarist, he was a great musician, he played what he sang, not the opposite.

    Are guitarists not musicians?

The guitar teaches the guitarist how to play music.
A musician sees an instrument like a tool, some are more comfortable than others.

There is a joke for that, Stratocasters are for guitarists, telecasters are for musicians.

When I had the guitar in my hands for the first time, I didn't feel comfortable either.

    Singing is more comfortable.
I know you'd stayed virgin for many years, girls came to you because you played the guitar.
When you wanted to do interesting things with them, they usually said : "No, no, keep the guitar !"
    For sure it's not comfortable.
