I faced an issue where my Archtop would randomly lose sound. After investigating, I discovered that the jack plug was loosening from the end pin socket due to tension from the guitar strap. Despite trying a better fitting strap, the problem persisted until I found a solution:

It does not sit 'nicely' on my guitar as there is a screw head in the way. I need to sit the 'adaptor' on a slight angle - but it is still secure.

That looks like a nice solution, I wish I had seen that earlier

It's very strong, and works with Schaller strap locks, other strap locks, or no lock. I really like them.
