This is a very early ES-150, possibly from the first year of production in 1937. My father obtained it around 1950. The name plate indicates that it belonged to Del Staton, who played upside down, lefty, like Hendrix. You can see the mirrored mounting hole for the pick guard in the last picture. He was a "Gibson Artist" featured on some catalog covers and ads.
I got curious about the Del and did a little research that is posted in the Players forum.
