First test of my new Martin GPC-11E

This arrived last week and I've been trying to get used to playing an acoustic ever since. Here's a short recording that I just did with it just to test out the process. It's a very different beast.

The pickup. I don't own any mics right now.

That is very natural sounding, not quacky like many piezo pickups tend to be.

Thanks. I was really hoping I'd be able to get that sound without mics. I don't have either the right room or the right environment for recording with mics, so the whole project really depended on my being able to get there on the strength of the pickups alone.
