Hello guys,
First post here!
I'm the new owner of a Fargen Soloway Classic from the '2Ks that was been overhauled from the previous owner with some circuit mods and a Weber Ceramic Chicago 10" in place of the original speaker (that was an Eminence neodymium full range speaker).
I'm trying to restore the amp to the original specs or to improve it for an ultimate portable lightweight jazz amp (using an Epiphone archtop).
What would you suggest for replacing the speaker and make it cool?
Thank you in advance,
- Matteo

It's been a long time since I thought about these. I think we used an Eminence Copperhead.

Doh! Never made the connection.

I don't understand why Jensens are considered inferior to Celestions etc. I've installed over 500, and if customers ever report replacing them, it's often with another Jensen.

Hello everyone (and Jim in particular).
The original speaker - according to the specs - was an Eminence DeltaLite II. I'm trying to keep the amp and make it as a good archtop-ready jazz combo, I don't want to have it a rock/blues thing...

Thanks. As I get older and the number of amps I've owned reaches astronomically high, a lot of it starts to blend into a large mush of details. The Copperhead was the speaker in some Princeton type amps that I was involved with teamed up with Headstrong.
