    My new free guitar.-img-0017-jpg

Yep, a friend gifted me a replica ES-125T. After adjusting the truss-rod and bridge height, it plays pretty nicely.

I think I can throw a few dollars at this and know when to stop. The pickguard and electronics will be replaced and I have a spare P90 I think is a Gibson as a starting point. (I am not mad about the colour, although I do have a suit to match. )

While the nut and tailpiece are fine, the bridge is awful. I need to A) find a ToM that sits on the existing bridge-posts or B) just buy a new rosewood two-piece carved bridge.

What are the current best recommendations for complete rosewood bridge sets that give proper intonation?

    Thanks in advance.

    Is it a particular brand.
I have a 125 copy which came with a soundpost. Does yours have one?
    Thanks

Erm, the headstock says Gibson .. however ... I have no idea.

Yes, it has a soundpost under the bridge.

Reminiscent of my Godin 5th Avenue…

I put a floater on my Godin. It is well-built and a joy to play. Not free, but at $450 not a bad deal at all.
