Do these amps exist in the real world yet or are they just YouTube Vaporware so far? It seems like something that a lot of folks around here would like to at least try but I haven't heard a word since the first announcement.

Haven't tried one, although it would make sense to know the enemy. Incredibly light. The 8" coaxial speaker sounds more like it for acoustic flattops than jazz guitars. The 19V power supply does translate into approx. 50W output, but clean headroom probably ends well below that. At least, this is the case with the Vox MV50 amp family. Several vendors in Europe claim to have these in stock.

I asked Chicago Music Exchange to order one for me, they are only being offered in Europe at this time.

Funny, with the external power unit there shoud be no problem. Perhaps the amp itself does not meet FCC's radio interference criteria. I believe Thomann has this amp - do they refuse to send one to NA?

Bad choice of name: Matchless make a Clubman

Clubman is a product name that Vox used in the 60's, long before Matchless even existed.

The Vox Clubman 60 is available in New Zealand. I have not tried it but others say it sounds very good with a semi-acoustic.

And perhaps that's why it hasn't been released in the US and Canada yet. I wonder if they're having legal issues with the name?
