Think how loud is 50 Watts. Quite loud, I’d believe.

I believe the speaker holds well together if don’t play louder than that.

(I have a 90 W speaker with a 200 W amp. But I have never played on 200 W.

Most of my r&r youth I played loud – and the amp was AC30. 30 Watts.)

Especially with something as efficient as a JBL, 50 watts would strip paint
The last thing I want is to damage a nice vintage speaker but every demo of the Luna sounds superb and I think the JBL would sound amazing with it.

I want to get one of the current Luna 200Rs. Would someone explain how the midrange notch works? Turning the frequency knob left sets to high mids & right to low mids? The mid knob simply boosts or reduces whatever frequency the other knob is set to?

Forgive the ignorance of the question. I’ve been playing a midrange-less Fender amp for years…

Would love to hear an amp shoot out for all of the different brand mini amp combos now available. And both in Jazz and Rock Pop applications. I would imagine size of speaker as well as size of cab open or closed back will affect the tone greatly!
