G12h100 is a great speaker. So is G12b150. Both clean and overdriven. But I doubt that they go up to 5k whick is what Mr Zucker seems to like. And while not being EVM heavy, they are not light neither. More like V30 heavy. But IMO they are outstanding speakers.
True and meaty.

no, i don't like speakers that have extended high freq. The celestion i'm currently using goes up to 3.8k. I haven't tried those creambacks you mention but there are tons of reviews of them saying they are really boomy in fender amps and therefore fart out at louder volumes. That's my hesitation with any of the creambacks...

Jack, you have a sig guitar, now you need a sig speaker.

by the way, i'll say again that I love the Celestion BN-300. I will go out on a limb and say it's my favorite speaker ever! Over a JBL or EV12L / EV Force...
It's only downfall is that it's very neutral sounding so if you're doing some snarly chickin' pickin or fusion, you might want something a bit more colored. I ended up ordering an eminence tonker for another cab I have but ultimately, I think I'm going to end up with a jensen jet tornado stealth or eminence wheelhouse.
They have another new neo speaker coming out soon but I lost the link and it's hard to find on their site.
I do like the idea of the alnico magnet creamback but I would need to buy it used or find someone with one to try since they are $299 !

Hi Jack,
I like the Eminence Cannabis Rex in my reissue Fender Deluxe Reverb. To my ears it's a touch darker than the stock Jensen and stays cleaner for longer as the volume creeps up. Shaves about a pound off the amp's weight (every bit helps). A bunch of NYC heavyweights like to borrow this amp when they come through town.
It's pretty affordable too at $89.99 on Sweetwater.
