OK Brian B,
Got the PM.
No need for postage, it will be traveling only maybe 50 miles or so anyway.

I see you have an Emperor T.
Did it ever need a neck reset?
-
Oh, that's right. You're kinda local. Awesome. Thank you. I'll buy you a (insert beverage of choice) if we ever cross paths...

I wonder about that. The action is really low and it plays great, but...

Part of me actually would like to, so it would pitch the normal way, and I could raise the bridge a bit (it's a thinner than normal Asian TOM copy and it's flush on the top).
The fellow I bought it from in Quincy MA never mentioned a reset, and it seemed he'd had the guitar a significant time.

Night Shift “The 87” is the current favorite.

If yours plays fine and the bridge is not “bottomed out” then i suspect it will live on for a loooong time just fine.

That's one guitar that if it needs a reset, I'll get it done. It'll take something extraordinary to get that one away from me...

I would definitely not do anything to it.
It is one of those very specific guitars where the time and place came together to make an all-time winner.
I only mention the reset because some just got to where the bridge hit bottom.
In my opinion.

It's a tool you can use to do stupid sh!t to a guitar, like this. You know, to ruin a guitar.

I wish cases came lined in white. It is odd looking, but the very rare, but possible, color bleed onto a lacquer finish would be thus avoided.
