I just posted a video to the Strandberg Owners Facebook page about my own experience trying to achieve a good seated neck angle with an Essential 6 I had bought (and later returned).
Ola Strandberg himself suggested moving the upper strap pin to one of the neck screws as a way to achieve this.

From your posts here, it looks like you were happy with the new seated positioning but not happy with the standing position due to neck dive.
Have you heard about Guitar Gummies?
Basically they adhere to a strap and have a very gummy surface that won't budge.
I didn't think much of them when I ordered them, but they really work well.
The adhesive seems pretty strong too.

I'm thinking of buying another Essential 6 and trying again.

    Hope all is well, etc.
I haven't heard of guitar gummies but had a gummy tonight and no longer care if the neck dives.

    PS

I deleted that post from the FB page.
Too many people starting to get snarky with me.
Not worth it, since Ola himself had already answered my question.

I never saw the post but I've also been heckled when complaining about the balance on those. These days, I no longer stand and play so maybe it's not an issue but if I'm going to be sitting, i'd rather play a guitar with a headstock. I've noticed that every headless guitar/bass I've owned has had dead spots in the fingerboard. I think the headstock actively contributes a lot to the tone.

That's a very interesting statement. I agree that the headstock must interact with the sound vibrations flowing thru the guitar.

Personally, I think that headless guitars could/should have more of a block at the head.

    Concerning neck dive.
A badly designed 7 string headless may well be neck heavy causing neck dive. I've never played a 7 string Strandberg only the 6 string, but I've owned and built a few 7 string headless guitars designed with heavier bodies.

Personally, I like the thin sustained tones of the Strandberg 6 string for pop/rock/fusion tones.

At that point, might as well make a guitar with a headstock! ?
