    Hi,
I put up a couple more videos. On these, I think you can HEAR the guitar pretty good.
I really love everything about this Guitar. The Playability is shockingly good. The sound is, well, you be the judge.

    Thanks Everyone.
    Joe D

The guitar's tone is simply intoxicating. I have no idea how you can concentrate on playing with all that tone swirling around... oh, right... you're making the tone... some guitars and some players are just a marriage made in heaven, by the Angels, as it were...

    Beautiful Joe. Made my day.

Beautiful. And it seems to bring out the best in you as well. Sentimental Mood is terrific.

Are those versions of the tunes Barry Galbraith? I'm looking for some fresh inspiration in my chord-melody playing and your playing really appeals to me. If you have some resources to recommend, I'm all ears.

    sounds good Joe.

you can tell it's a good one because it sounds fat on the high strings, no typical archtop shrill.
sometime I'd like to hear it w/no 'verb, just straight as can be.

You can't put a price on tone like that. Must be hard to play anything else. When you get to the other side I am sure John will want to shake your hand.....Jimmy too.

How do you make it through the workday or workweek knowing that she's not being played? ...all that delicious sound waiting to be unleashed! Delightful music Joe...as always, thank you.

Joe, you need to stop giving this stuff away and do a CD. "Joe DeNisco Solo". Being a jazz record, the only way it will be a "million seller" is if you print too many and wind up with a million in your cellar . That said, I think there would be a market for it.

Amazing guitar and superb playing. It is a beautiful thing when a great guitar ends up in the right hands. This DA sure has....

Aww thanks bro. When I get to the other side (hopefully not for a long time), I want to shake THIER hands. They will probably be too busy making guitars for Joe, Johnny, Wes, Emily, Herb, Tal, Barney, and oh yeah, God. They wont have time for me.. Thank you Bro.

Will do WM. This guitar none of that built in. Its straight, no aftertones, no artifacts anywhere. I'll do something. As long as you guys want to hear it, I'll play for you.. Thanks, JD

Hey Lawson, Yes I think they are Barry Galbraith. He has some nice tricks he uses, that even Joe Pass does. Thanks for liking my stuff Buddy. JD

Aww, Thanks Jim. And yes it really does. I've been in a rut lately with my playing, especially after Boy Next Door. I had no intension of recording today. I picked up the Excel this morning and it just came pouring out. I think there are spirits in the guitar. I really do. 81 years of mystery. There has to be something going on in there.. Thanks for checking in and commenting Jim. JD.

Lawson, You know, you bring up a good point. For months, I've been listening too much and not letting it flow. Its like when you play golf, you are supposed to forget about the ball and just swing the club. Its hard to do that with a real DA. Because you are so intent on listening for the specialness to come out. Once you let it flow, The Guitar shows you why its great. Thanks buddy, as always for the really nice things you say. JD

Why would I need any other Guitar? Like the old bull says to the young bull as they are looking down at the heard of pretty cows, Why give all your love to just one when you can go slow and love them all...
I hear bits and pieces of the L7c in this guitar, for sure. I was just thinking that this morning. Thanks, JD

SS, I hope you didn't mind that I snagged one of your great lines..
I would like to make a CD one day. Maybe we can all do that? We can call it the JGF allstars.. The will be 10 songs on the album. 9.98 of them will be performed by Jack... No room for the rest of us..

    Thanks brother.

Wow - Joe, those tunes are just so nice. The sonority of the D'A is amazing. You really seem to have found the conjunction of a number of sweet spots (plucking points/pressure/velocity, mic placement, room resonances, corner loading, etc.) that is, if not optimum, certainly getting there. Nice, nice work. Thank you!

Amen. Joe is seriously preaching it on that guitar. I honestly have never heard a guitar with tone as sweet as that one. It's just beyond description.

Thanks again Lawson. The blue bluebird is a great mic too. I listened to the recording with good headphones and it really sounds exactly like it does when I play it. I love it. Thanks again LS

Greentone, thanks buddy. You will hear that guitar on a record one day, I hope. I work with a producer who gives me studio work on demos with serious up and coming talent. One day. Roost had the greatest with them for years. The only album they'd want me to do is a comedy album... Thanks for liking my stuff.

    Just Wow.

I recently found a Korean made The Loar LH400SN on a local auction site. This is the sound I have in my head for it...what everyone above already said. Not gonna get it, but still, something to aim for.

    Beautiful, Joe.

    Just Wow.

When your guitar is 81 years old, it will be very close. You gotta have the right spirits in it...

Possibly, though it's hard to imagine it could ever reach the heights of a D'Angelico. Anyway, I certainly won't be around to find out.

Just a stunning, stunning guitar, Joe. In all respects.
