Endpin, anyone? Neck heel strap button?

They can't be serious but they are: Aaron Shearer - The Shearer Classic Guitar Strap .

That's the prodigal Stew-Mac Position 6 that nobody dares talk about...

so, just hop over the strap hook when you get up that high on the neck.
I don't see the problem here...

    Brilliant!
I never go past the 10th fret anyway.
It's a freaking no mans land up there!
I always knew that the frets beyond the 10th fret were only for looks.

Can't wait to screw that strap into the neck of my Collings City Limits Jazz

Will the Velcro hold a 12 lb. Les Paul?

A pity their "revolutionary" kit doesn't offer a choice for the eye screw color so it could match guitar hardware like those maybe :

    Wouldn't be cool on your 8000$ L5 ?
Could not find any that would match the binding however too bad...

I think they stole the hook and eyelet concept from John D'Angelico.

this is for classical playing, not thumb-over-the-fretboard gorillas.

If I screwed anything like that into my classical, Segovia would roll over in his grave (and the value would drop by 70%)!

That is just so wrong. OMG and WTF?

That said, if you don't ming getting a weird hole somewhere between fretboard and nack, it's cheap !

And, on the other hand, I've never seen a classical with strap buttons (but maybe I've not looked for)

And, on the other other hand, I don't see why I would need a strap to play a classical. A footrest, yes, a strap, no.

Segovia used one, he had a bad back.

the only way this would alleviate back pain is if the strap is connected to your ceiling instead of around your neck!

I sometimes use an Ergo Play guitar rest. I have both the Tappert and Troster models. They work very well!

I guess, it held Dave Letterman. It's just a matter of how much to use and where to put it :-)
