I've followed the various threads on these guitars and am seriously tempted to order a 15" wide archtop, cutaway or possibly non-cutaway purely acoustic guitar. I'm not really interested in any more for and against each maker discussions, just the main question and any personal experiences with this size made by these builders.
My arm/neck/shoulder problems push me towards this size. I also have some arthritis in my hands and would need to use 11 gauge strings as a maximum size. I've played a Peerless Maestro, so I know this size works for me.
Any thoughts or experience welcome, but lets not get acrimonious.
    Thanks

I've not, I really have found the 16 inch size works for me (John Pisano copy).
Good luck, I am sure they will accommodate your requests promptly and professionally.

No experience with Yunzhi, but this might be of interest if you're not after a purely acoustic instrument

    Tip Top - for sale

The T145 is lightweight, 15", thinline so comfortable to play and has a 1 3/4 nut. I think this is close to your desired spec. The price in SEK translates to approx £1150, close to what I've heard a Yunzhi will cost in the UK. Tiptop charge about 30 Euros for shipping I think.

I/m doubly enthusiastic about the T14x models as I owned a T146sm (fully solid hand carved spruce top, fully solid hand carved flame maple back. About the closest thing in feel to a Byrdland but a normal scale and a tad thinner. I used to sit on my back steps playing mine unplugged and it was quite loud, this one had been modified by J. Hale Music in Wisconsin with Seth Lover 4 wires and push pull pots. WOW !! And the Eastmans are ready to go, no worries about having the frets redone or any of that. Also have a look at the T18X line, I see that shop has a number of them. I own a T186mx in white, truly lovely guitar and quite responsive, it is a 335 shape but only has a block under the stop tail and fixed bridge, otherwise fully hand carved maple top and fully carved mahogany back, quite nice. The T185 or T184 would be very comfortable for you.

    Good luck in your search.

Well I can't address first hand experience, but I know they've been making 15"-ers. Here are pics of a nice looker, although not strictly acoustic.

Anybody bought a 15" wide body archtop from Lora/Yunzhi?-15inch_hollow_body_handmade_jazz_guitar-jpg

    hi friend
And for the quality, you needn't worry, cause we have riched experienced craftsman to make the guitar. And our price is much cheaper than Eastman, actually, some of our craftsman ever worked in Eastman at begining.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

I'm no lawyer but this sounds illegal to me. Offering to help people cheat on their taxes is, I believe, against the law. Laws vary from country to country, of course, and what is illegal in one place may not be in another.

I must report this to the administrator. If something illegal is facilitated by the Forum, we may get in trouble and that is undesirable.

Cheating on taxes/customs is illegal in Germany (and probably in every other country) as well. The staff at customs offices normally is well prepared for this and can get the buyer in nice trouble anytime soon.

Obviously, nobody in Beijing has learned the "private message" issue from last week ... too bad

Had it been a private message, maybe it would have gone unnoticed, moral or immoral, lol

Actually, does a moderator have access to a private message, or is it strictly private ?

That's a good question. Glad you asked. No, I do not have access to your private messages, or anyone else's (save for the ones that arrive in my inbox, of course.)

A concerned member emailed me this, from the US tax code. Again, I'm no lawyer. For what it's worth, this sounds serious to me.

Agreed, and when a saler posts again and again basically the same message they only embarrass themselves. Instead of taking it to PM as it was politely explained to them. Miscommunication, I think NOT. Methinks they just don't give a sh*t. Really dumb.
