Great sounding es-175. Es-175 sounds darker than Sadowsky model.

    P.S.

I'm not sure - on something like Beija-Flor from All Across The City Jim gets a beautiful clear bright sound that I've always assumed was his D'Aquisto.

Yes, it was the D'Aquisto. However, if you want to hear Jim Hall using the 175 in a live setting, try the "Alone Together" album with Ron Carter:

Photo from those gigs show that it was the ES-175 that Hall played. The album cover photo was taken unrelated to the album, it appears.

Two different guitars. Both have had amazing music made on them. Both are used by pros and amateurs. There are good and bad applies with both. Blessed are those that have the means to experience either one or both.

There you go, dreams really do come true.

I like the way you matched the ones in the video, both in TB.

    What year is the L5?

An Es175 and now an L5. Now you have to find a unicorn and your all set.
kidding aside, beautiful guitars. The pinnacle. Lotsa luck and thanks for sharing.

The L-5CES that Brian is playing in the Private Reserve video sounds really good.
