Should I give in to temptation or am I being a fool to be drawn to the Made In Japan magic and vintage mojo?
Are we talking about exactly the same guitar, but built in different countries?
I’d say pick one up, play both for a bit, and keep the one you prefer. I just found an ‘82 in amazing condition locally, and it’s a special guitar.

Pertinent to the thread: in a fit of irresponsibility, I bought the FG100 a couple of weeks after I had found a great deal in a ‘99 GB10. To me, they’re different enough to warrant keeping both. Plus, I’m racking up plenty of Amex points, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Good luck on your search!
