    Considering the price of flatwound strings: our american friends pay more for Thomastik Infeld strings than for the D'Addarios. In Europe it's the other way round.

    I think Thomann is a good starting point for price comparisons. I wonder how their own label "Harley Benton" strings works.
    But honestly, I change my flatwound strings like maybe every other year, so price is not really my first criteria.
