I have a nice lightweight Telecaster with a Lollar Charlie Christian pick up in the neck position. It's a great sounding pickup, but curiosity is getting the better of me again. Thinking of trying either the CC Pickups C90 or the TK Smith Charlie Christian. Very interested to hear folks opinions here as to which of these 3 pickups is preferred in a Tele to get closest to the tone of the original Gibson's pickup.

I have a few octal amps - Gibson 1941 EH-185, 1953 Fender 5C5 Pro, 5C3 Deluxe.

I realise this has been covered a few years back, just interested to hear current opinion and experiences.
