Hi!
An ad for an Ibanez GB-12 for sale in Malmö, Sweden, appeared back in May.
Ibanez gb12 | Blocket
The price was initially 20,000 SEK, but it dropped to 17,000 in early June.
That is a very low price for an instrument that looks to be in excellent condition in the photos.
Only the case handle is broken, but that is obviously not a major issue.
I immediately tried to contact the seller, but:
1) Anyone can sign up for the www.blocket.se platform.
2) To contact a seller, you must have a Swedish ID number issued by a Swedish bank.
I asked www.blocket.se technical support for help, but due to privacy policies, they cannot put me in touch with the seller.
I then sought help elsewhere and found someone who makes double bass bows in the same neighborhood in Malmö.
This person very kindly contacted the seller—who is located nearby—on my behalf. Unfortunately, the seller decided not to ship the Ibanez GB-12.
My intermediary passed my email address on to the seller, but so far, I haven't heard from them.
I really like the guitar, and I was wondering if there might be a Swedish user on the JGOL forum who could help me out.
Naturally, I would pay for everything upfront via bank transfer or PayPal.
Thanks!

Ryanair?
Looks like a nice guitar.

Actually, for about 400 euros, I could fly to Malmö.
But the problem remains that I DON'T have the seller's exact name, address, email, or phone number.
Where do I go when I arrive in Malmö?
Am I certain the guitar hasn't been sold yet?

Perhaps if you tell the person who helped you before that you want to come pick it up you may get an answer.
In some of these kinds of ads people ask to ship repeatedly. If the seller doesnt want to ship they sometimes just ignore the request. Some people are easier to do business with than others.

I loved these guitars. I'd see these and the hardware for them when I worked for Ibanez. Nice.
Sorry I can't help you acquire it, but if you manage to get it and it's in good shape, you're getting a nice guitar.
If it doesn't work out, know that if you wait and watch and a GB10 crosses your path, you'll get an equivalent playing guitar (not as pretty) and their consistency and quality control from the Fujigen GB's has always been excellent.
Best of luck and I hope you acquire and play it with joy.
