HI
So i used to play in a country band with the guy and he recently passed away. His widow has a bunch of stuff for sale and this is one of his guitars ive played it and its really cool. Used to be owned by Al Casey from the wrecking crew. I took pics but i couldn't get a clear pic of the orange gibson sticker inside. anyone know what this might be worth or event he model number? thanks

Hi yup im gonna work on getting it. Ya ill have to take a look what else he had in that closet. He wasn't a jazzer more bluegrass and country player so he has a couple high end banjos, Gibson acoustics. Teles...a bunch of other stuff.

yes! Teles do make great jazz guitars.. I have a Sadowksy with the lollar Charlie Christian in the neck and the matching bridge pickup...so nice.

I got rid of it because it had a seemingly paradoxical set of issues, while it had a beautiful tone on initial attack, the sustain was so short notes would die out in an unnatural sort of way, but at the same time, it was a feed-back machine. While it looked like a fat 335, it was hollow with no center block. As a fan of using 2 pickups to sculpt tone, I did like the master volume.
