Any of you folks use one regularly? I have been tempted for years. Thanks for any replies.

Same here. I recently saw a Chinese copy of it, but I can't find it now.

Owned one years ago, but moved it on. It's a versatile guitar for sure, but ultimately it wasn't the sound I was looking for.

I’ve owned an original full-sized T5 for a number of years. It has a couple of quirks that you might want to check that the smaller T5z has if I recall.
    1) they are neck heavy. If you have a “normal “ strap and let go she’s diving to the floor in a heart beat. You’ll need to get used to anchoring your arm on the body whether sitting or especially standing.
    2) the selector switch on mine doesn’t click into its positions like a Strat switch does. Sometimes it’s hard to know if you’re in the “slot” or between two. It’s just not a firm click feeling.
    3) I do love the feel of the neck.
    4) the guitar is pretty light (love it).
    5) not a great design for sitting and playing jazz. Speaking of which, I hated her with flat wounds and ripped them off after a couple of days. But heavy 12-52 wound rounds sounded and played great. I settled on the recommended Elixer 11-49 round wounds to cover all the genres she is meant to play, including acoustic.
I find I don’t play her much anymore!
    Good Luck!

I used a T5 Koa when I first started gigging, around 2008(ish). It was fine but I switched to a 335 and a Casino.

it has been so long I don’t recall why I stopped using the T5. I don’t even think I’ve opened the case since 2010.

The T5z also had neck dive as well. Not a deal breaker for most, but a quirk nonetheless.
