Heritage Prospect 1993.
The bridge and the end piece had already been changed before, that was already a small improvement.
Now the Schaller pickups have been replaced with Gibson classic 57s. They sound really good.
They have a bit of a single coil pickup.

I always found the stock Schaller pickups too dark and muddy. I did like the HRW by Rendell Wall though!
My favorite recipe for these guitars are Manluis Landmark PAF neck Alnico 2 and Manluis Hot Rod bridge Alnico 5

Nice guitar and great choice of pickups!!!

The Schaller humbuckers that my c. 1990 Heritage 150 came with were very nice and not all muddy. I have a clip somewhere to prove it.

I wouldn't say muddy but dark sounding. Which wouldn't have bothered me as much as the lack of character,
I always found them a little too neutral, not to say sterile. But I know there are fans for the Schaller pickups
because I've already had a few requests for them.

1. It's easier to change your mind than change your pickups. Maybe!
2. Eventually you'll get old and won't hear the difference.
