'64 Fender Custom Deluxe PTP HW On The Way

Yesterday I ordered a new '64 Fender Custom Deluxe PTP HW amp. I traded a Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb and a Yates banjo (I'm a bluegrass and jazz musician) to complete the deal. I love the Deluxe Reverb sound and have been wanting to own the '64 for quite some time. I think it will make a great jazz amp, among other amps. It's supposed to show up in a couple weeks. I'll holler when it arrives.

Nice. That should be a pretty nice rig. A good deluxe is tough to beat for a lower wattage amp.

Congratulations! I traded an ES-175 for a new ‘64 Custom Deluxe Reverb last year. I own two vintage BF amps (Princeton and Pro Reverb) and the Custom Deluxe compares very well. Allow time for the speaker to get broken in… don’t rush to swap speakers. Fantastic classic amp. Fender did a great job with this one. Carry on…
