Beautiful playing and wonderful sound. Chet Atkins used Del Vecchios for one of his signature sounds for decades. My recollection is that they always needed service but he considered it to worth the effort.

I don't know that I would call that the "perfect" jazz guitar tone (there is no such thing), but it's a very nice tone. And I think in terms of visual themes, that particular pickup matches the resonator openings quite well. That's over and above the sound quality. Nice playing too.
