Doug Ramsey's Desmond biog is a really fine read. Fascinating guy. A romantic to the end, but certainly no shortage charming ladies on his arm...

that desmond album with eb ^ is on the mosaic boxset...it was only available on vinyl for decades...it was originally released on the obscure- artists house label in 1978
