Actually, some are and some aren't. They're just a variety of chord clusters. None have the root in the bass. Here's the fingerings I used for two hands. These go to my arrangement of part of Cherokee.

Here's some "pandiatonic" chords with the beginning of the melody of "Giant Steps" as the the top pitches. I sent a copy of it to John McLaughlin. He said, "To say the least, your chord structures are very interesting. I have no idea how you can get this harp-like quality on the guitar. On listening, I would imagine that your work will take you into the realm of composition as opposed to the analysis and re-synthesis of existing harmonic movement, though these two aspects are closely related. In any event keep up the good work and thanks."
If you haven't checked out Ted Greene's "V-System" of organizing all possible 4-note voicings for chords it's well worth the read. It opens up new territory in one's chordal thinking.
"V" stands for "voicing group," and there's 14 of them....some will be familiar, some new. TedGreene.com - Teachings - V-System
Hi!
I probably deleted that comparison because I was using the free SoundCloud tier at the time and it limits the total recorded time you can store. I finally went to the first paid tier and no...
That sounds like mine. The pickups were Epiphone USA 50S? (can't see the full label in my picture) and sounded wonderful. This was a guitar I felt no temptation at all to modify in any way.
Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing 113 nickel flat wounds - the 113 set is 13 to 53. They’re excellent strings that many (but far from all) of us love. I use them on both of my carved archtops, but I...
Thank you:)
Yes, the Schorr guitars really are a unique combination of features. The tilting neck-joint (inspired by Howe Orme and Rick Turner) is another solution that really makes alot of sense...
Actually if it seems I’m a bit closed off to new info sometimes it’s usually because I’ve reached capacity. It doesn’t take much. The three part quartals have been floating in and out of my practice...

Yeah Shirley’s an old friend, hung out only this week as a matter of fact. We’ve played together countless times over the years. We’ve definitely DL’d together a few times lol. She’s a beast!

I use the d'addario clip tuner but the tinny one, is the PW-CT-12 Micro Headstock Tuner. I played many times in different conditions and for many concerts with only this tuner and I really loved it!...
