Well, my 1st contribution here. I am playing more or less on a beginner's level. And i am mainly a bass player who wants to substitute guitar fillings into her playing.
In the last years often on a bass 6, where i try to combine bass lines with guitar chords. Which means that the guitar chords shall sound in the frequency/tonal range of a guitar in standard tuning whenever possible.
To me it is sometimes pretty compelling to figure out suitable voicings for the guitar part, especially when it comes to more "interesting" chords; the typical voicings for a jazz guitar in standard tuning often will not work. I am mainly looking for chord patterns in the higher registers, e.g, using the 4 upper string on frets 5-12. Which means that most patters used in tutorials for jazz guitar beginners will not work - they are too often desigend around using A-B strings and avoiding the E-Strings. And i would like to use strings D-E (in standard tuning), which means that patterns cannot be transferred due to the tuning of the guitar.
Well, way to many words to express something as simple as that i know...
So my question: dows someone know of any suitable chord pattern charts/tables?
Thanks
Beate
