Hello everyone,

I am planning a Archtop build and have some nice figured Blackwood that I would like to use for the neck. It is 75mm wide and 650mm long and 25mm thick. The blank is quarter sawn blank. I have another piece of the same Blackwood same dimensions but a little shorter. I'm considering stacking the heel with the offcut piece.

Do you consider using a stacked heel for a Archtop build is acceptable? Does anyone have any pics of Archtops built this way?
