It’s incredibly important to learn lots of songs. There’s something else in revisiting certain tunes repeatedly across the span of many years. It’s the vertical and horizontal forming the complete circle. (Or some horseshit like that). Here’s my version of ATTYA after decades of playing it.

There's just something to knowing a song...and knowing a song, forgetting about it, coming back to it, falling in love with it again, repeating that process over and over...that's the REAL kind of knowing.
