My father loved the Animals and “the house of the rising sun” was one of the three songs he could play in guitar, and my mother had a crush on Alan Price from when she lived in the UK. SO I grew up listening to the animals a lot. I saw Eric Burdon live with my father as a teenager. Amazing energy.
This may be my fave song of theirs. Maybe with “don’t let me be misunderstood”.
