A while ago I made a transcription of a Joe Pass solo fingerstyle version of Joyspring, as I was fascinated to know how he made this into an effective solo guitar arrangement (I worked it out from that youtube video where he plays to some people in a guitar shop, plus bits from another version he recorded).
It’s an absolute pig to play, I still can’t play it properly. Increased my respect for Joe no end. Especially as in the youtube video he starts talking while he plays it!
I have an Epi premium with the wine red color,plays great,sounds and looks great. Considering the measly sum i paid for it compared to my other guitars shows you don't have to spend a small fortune...

The Barker sounds warmer, but it’s impossible to tell what difference there might be because each guitar is different. The Heritage sounds fantastic in my book!

if the luthiers polishing compounds fail , then a light overspray and subsequent buff out is in order.
Make certain the surface has NO residue from the buffing compounds.
