So recently I'm been loving playing tunes in 3/4 time, so I was hoping you guys could fire out names of standards in 3/4 that you like to play. That way if I've missed any of them, I can check them out.

Examples of what I've been playing:
    Windows
    The Saga of Harrison Crabfeathers
    My Favourite Things
    Very Early
    Someday My Prince Will Come

    Any more suggestions?

    Thanks!

And if that ain't enough for you, try changing a tune that is in 4/4 to 3/4.

I've been loading up this thread and using it as a practice list for 3/4 time, so thanks guys!

Also, as an addition to the list check out:

Ambleside - John Taylor - it's his version of the Very Early changes, a real tough one to play convincingly!

I have my dad's old copy of that Jim Hall Live record. Great record. The LP sleeve includes a transcription of Jims' solo on "The Way.." with a bass line.

Also, I'll throw one of the few 3/4 tunes not mentioned yet-Valse Hot by Sonny Rollins. Pretty tune, and I believe one of the earlier jazz waltzes.

Cool, nice to see that this list is still being added to. Might be worth pinning it Admin?
