Jazz guitarists, I have a conundrum.
Earlier this year I paid about double what this guitar is worth.
It has almost everything a player could want: Comfortable thin hollowbody model, original DeArmond DynaSonic pickup (with the cream Guild top), apparently-original harness, machines, tailpiece, truss-cover, and (thinned-down) bridge. Probably the original frets and nut. Heck, even the original chipboard case, which means it's fully protected from dust.
It suffered from a rattle-can refin. And the "preparation" involved a thorough scuffing.
It looks great from a distance. It looks like a body-part in-hand.
Sets up perfectly. Sounds great. The DynaSonic is an awsome pickup and double that for jazz.
But I have something else en route so this one must vacate.
And that means I'm gonna get killed on the money.
Q. Who wants this guitar?
A. If you want a true vintage beater jazz thin-body, you want this guitar.
If you want to refinish it yourself you can make money off this guitar.
If you find beauty in sound and feel rather than look, here it is.
If you want to leave something to safely leave at work / school / studio, step right up.
I'm happy to sell it with a Glenn-era Reunion Blues cordura bag (inside the chipboard case) if you want that too, at modest extra cost.
$795 plus shipping from 04101 for the Guild.
I'm always open to offers.
My idiocy is not your problem.
Thank you as always.

I find your idiocy endearing.
Reminds me of someone I know, except for the four guitar part.
I'd be happy to trade you for something just as messed up and wonderful, but that won't get either of us anywhere, sheesh.
But... why the four guitar limit? 40 is a much better number.

Yikes! If you'd listed this two days ago I'd have taken it in heartbeat but I now have a guitar enroute. I may have one on the way out so maybe if it's still here in a couple days.
