Here is my 1956 Gibson L7CN For sale. It includes a rhythm chief 1100 pick up from the 1960s mounted by a stick. Guitar is all original except for the pick guard set ups. I have three set ups one is acoustic, second is a Lollar blade Charlie Christian style pick up, And then the 1100 rhythm chief. Asking $5399 shipped domestic net to me.
Some light scratches and dings, but absolutely crack free. Frets are good and playable, but on the last crown. This is likely an update the next owner will need to do some time down the line.
Nice guitar but you want the same price as Reverb. You might do the forum a favor and give them a break if you sell it through the forum, you don't pay any fees.
A bump for a great vintage setup. Guitar is clean and great shape vintage pickup setup is solid and versatile. Knock $800 off is you don’t want the pickup.
Quarrelling? I haven't quarrelled and I'm not upset, quite the contrary. Show me where I've quarrelled. Cut and paste it in, I haven't changed anything.
Next tune, good idea. There are a plethera...
Would it be more beneficial to eliminate any pulse at all in technical studies and just write out the studies on a program like MuseScore, indicate the tempo, and then play along with them?
I have owned a Gibson ES-335, an Ibanez Hollow and an Eastman AR508. I still own the Gibson. The 335 is just an amazing guitar. Super versatile, very comfortable to play and sounds fantastic.
If one argues wood doesn't affect tone on electric guitar I'm ok with that. As long as they are not in guitar making business. If somebody out there builds guitars and thinks like that I want to be...

There were two Eagle branded guitars:

-the other was the brand of a French company, IML, that had various models made at the Hoshino / Fujigen...
I am firmly in the Gibson camp. While the PRS may sound good(not denying that), I don't like how they feel/play, and don't like the look(esthetics). This is something that will never change for me. I...
Thanks for the vote of confidence big guy! I can surely say the same thing about you! Looking forward to checking out your new custom toy when you get it!
Hello Navdeep,
Thanks for the greetings and well wishes! A buddy of mine in San Francisco also gave up the 6 string for 8, 9 & 10 string custom built guitars. I have enough problems trying to...
rag, you were the one who instigated all the quarrelling about the tune. Why are you getting upset when someone asks 1 question? If you're bored, go practice outlining changes.
Does anyone want to...
Hi Vinny,
OK finally had a chance to measure the fret height. They appear to be approximately 0.035" in height. There's very little fret wear, as the guitar has not been played much at all. ...
Much good advice here. Try to roll off the tone, as many say, but also reduce/remove the amount of reverb. The amount of reverb you use removes definition and clarity and gives a compressed sound...
