Here is my 1956 Gibson L7CN For sale. It includes a rhythm chief 1100 pick up from the 1960s mounted by a stick. Guitar is all original except for the pick guard set ups. I have three set ups one is acoustic, second is a Lollar blade Charlie Christian style pick up, And then the 1100 rhythm chief. Asking $6899 shipped domestic net to me.
Some light scratches and dings, but absolutely crack free. Frets are good and playable, but on the last crown. This is likely an update the next owner will need to do some time down the line.
Nice guitar but you want the same price as Reverb. You might do the forum a favor and give them a break if you sell it through the forum, you don't pay any fees.
A bump for a great vintage setup. Guitar is clean and great shape vintage pickup setup is solid and versatile. Knock $800 off is you don’t want the pickup.
The Parker Nylonstring sounds a lot less strident than his models made for steelstrings and I have to give it to the player : his left hand technique is pretty good ! No excessive finger-noises, very...
Perhaps you could upload to YouTube Music. The video wouldn't seem to be that important, considering it was a radio broadcast. You can make the playlist unlisted, which means only users with the...
I like the adjustable tweeter on my raezers edge cabinet. I keep it on but at a very low output level, just barely enough to add a little air and dimension to the tone. I don’t like the full blast...
Most tweeters start putting out usable signal between 1.5 and 2 kHz. You can’t just wire a tweeter in as a second full range driver, so some kind of a crossover is required if only to block...
AFAIK, Joe and John Pisano were best friends to the end (at least that is what John Pisano told me). I still think it is sad that Joe's best friend and son would become bitter enemies after his...
Joe's carved D'Aquisto was sold to a rich collector pay for medical bills after his cancer Diagnosis.
Joe's plywood D'Aquisto was in the possession of Joe Jr. when I talked to him 20 years ago. It...
The story of my 175 will haunt me to the grave. I got my first guitar (a United Elitone flattop for $10 new) at 9. By the time I was 11, I’d gotten good enough to justify a better guitar, and my...
All art will always change. Notwithstanding that, there's no harm in remembering, appreciating, acknowledging and enjoying great periods of art from the past. As has been said: "It's about preserving...
I use the tweeter on my RE Stealth 10ER cabinet. It's just too dark for my taste without some tweeter. It's adjustable, and I tend to run it between 1/4 and 1/2 up, depending on the head, the...
The search engine is a bit quirky. I typed "Carvin," and while I got the Carvins, I got a bunch of other stuff that begins with C. Celestion, Cardinal, Custom...
Not many, if any, do - certainly private sellers. I've been looking at a lot recently for that purpose.
From your post it sounds to me as though it's something a seller should or is obliged to do....
Or maybe it's one of the very few that has been recorded properly? Sadly I'm not aware of any recordings at all of the "classical archtops" Alan Carruth has built. Those are probably the only ones...
